Artist Statement

　ミクストメディアによるインスタレーションや，ビデオインスタレーションの作品制作，展示の企画などを行っている．

　事実として認識されていることや，一般に広く認められているような小説をモチーフにフィクショナルなもう1つのストーリーを構築し，作品化する．

　人間は五感を通して知覚される世界以上のものは想像しがたい性質がある．しかし、本来存在しないかに思える世界が存在しないことを証明することは不可能である．

　もう1つのあったかもしれないストーリーはある種のケアとして機能する．

Ayaco Mino is working primarily in mixed-media installation art and videos, and organizing exhibitions.

She constructs another fictional story based on the motif of what is recognized as fact or a novel widely accepted by the general and creates works of art.

Human beings have a natural tendency to imagine the world we realize phenomena through the five senses, yet it is hard to imagine more than that. However, it is impossible to prove that the world which does not seem to exist does not exist.

The other story of what might have been functions as a kind of technology of care to us.
